Lucky Duck Auctions & Liquidations was started out of both passion and necessity. Owner and founder Jason Vaughan has been passionate about solving problems for over 20 years. After starting off as a collector and buyer at auctions, he began to see a concerning pattern of inexperience and an overall lack of accountability in the auction industry. Online auctions are NOT regulated by the state, which has caused this industry to be rife with dishonesty, laziness and an overall lack of fiduciary responsibility to sellers. He realized that sellers needed more and deserved better.

Our books for each sale are open to our sellers and we cater to your specific needs. About the Owner
Lucky Duck Auctions owner & founder Jason Vaughan's career in the auction industry began in 1999 through collecting antiques and oddities. After graduating college from the University of North Texas, he obtained his real estate license and was the Contracts/Negotiations manager at one of the largest foreclosure brokerage firms in Dallas/Fort Worth. Through his real estate transactions, he would regularly come across sellers needing to liquidate their personal property prior to selling their home. After several negative experiences as a buyer at auctions, he used his knowledge of the auction industry along with the relationships he had developed with several banks and government entities and created Lucky Duck Auctions. With honest business practices, transparent books and extensive industry knowledge, Lucky Duck Auctions has become the premier online auction company in North Texas.
